A Milestone Year to Remember
It just dawned on me that this is a massive milestone year for my family—and maybe it is for you, too. Last weekend we celebrated my Dad’s and my Son’s birthdays, and this weekend, we’re heading straight into Father’s Day.
My dad just celebrated his 71st birthday. He’s in incredible health, sharp as a tack, and immensely proud of his kids and grandkids. It’s a beautiful moment of achievement for him. Meanwhile, this is the year I turn 50, and my eldest daughter, Anjali (aka @SlickyBean / slickybean.com), turns 18. Anjali is now a high school Senior with a 4.5 GPA, getting ready to head off to college next year to study Engineering. She is brilliantly multidimensional—excelling in reading, writing, art, design, and science—with a fierce competitive spirit. (Pro tip: Don't tell her she can't do something; she will prove you wrong!) We couldn't be prouder of the woman she is becoming.

This Sunday is also my son Princeston’s (Clif Jr.) birthday. He’s a quiet, pleasant young man with a massive passion for volleyball. He just wrapped up his freshman year at one of Broward County’s top high schools with straight A’s, studying subjects like Chinese. He’s a natural at math and shares his sister's creative spark, wrapped in a more introverted personality.
